About the Role
We’re looking for a driven Solution Sales Manager to join our fast-growing Centralised Energy Services (CES) team at Origin. CES is a key part of our Retail business, focused on delivering innovative utility solutions—like hot water and embedded electricity systems—to high-density residential developments across Australia.
This is a pivotal sales role where you’ll lead the charge in identifying and securing new business opportunities. You'll build and nurture key relationships with clients, from developers and builders to hydraulic consultants, acting as their trusted advisor. Your focus will be on understanding their needs, collaborating on the design of smart, commercial solutions, and ensuring every project is a success for our customers and communities. You/'ll also bring your commercial expertise to prepare financial analyses and manage project contracts, ensuring a seamless process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across residential and commercial buildings.
- Develop and execute detailed sales plans to meet budget targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
- Work collaboratively with technical teams, contractors, and suppliers to develop solutions that are a great fit for each project.
- Ensure contracts are commercially sound and executed correctly.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and product trends.
About You
You're a commercially savvy and relationship-focused sales professional with experience in high-value solution selling. You're passionate about building lasting partnerships and thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. While your strength is in sales and relationship management, you're also confident engaging with technical partners and can interpret and contribute to project designs.
- A strong track record in sales or business development.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project financials and contracts.
- The ability to engage with technical designs and processes.
- A commitment to safety, quality, and delivering outstanding customer value.
