With a range of quality products, this company maintains an enviable position and so are seeking out a professional Technical Support Representative. The business is a leading supplier of innovative consumer and automotive products to a range of clients that include well-known brands. They are supportive of their people and maintain a strong focus on the quality and reliability of their products and services.
**The Opportunity**
**Primary duties will include**
- Assist consumers, service agents and retailers with technical, operational & connection queries
- Provide technical product information in a manner to suit the level of callers' expertise
- Advise and effectively resolve enquiries
- Undertake regular training on products to staff and agents as required
- Provide relevant technical information for FAQ database
- Assist product manager with product reviews and testing
**Skills and Experience**
- Electronics retail experience, or be a trade qualified Automotive Electrician and bring previous experience as an installer of car alarms, car audio or aftermarket products
- Background in consumer electronics products or home security systems would be well regarded
- If not trade qualified, you will have worked in technical support role with high volume calls and possess professional communication (verbal & written) skills
- You will enjoy talking to people, providing a high level of technical guidance through detailed discussions, sometimes with non-technical people
