**Description**:
Undertake tasks that contribute to the design, implementation and coordination of projects that deliver effective business unit outcomes and meet client service delivery needs. Collaborate with team members to undertake research and analysis to contribute to the development of key projects that ensure good business outcomes.
Support the project with various administrative functions including status updates, reports, budgets, arranging meetings. May require a relevant degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager.
Reporting to the Manager, this role will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Provide specialist advice and direction on learning and development initiatives as well as identifying skill gaps to build organisational capability.
- Partner with the business to design and develop organisational and employee engagement programs that creates a positive employee experience across the employee lifecycle.
- Partner with the business to develop and source fit-for-purpose eLearning modules and other learning resources to support the workforce, including eLearning for compliance, soft skills, and other role specific skills for the Authority’s staff.
- Lead, project manage and implement initiatives to increase the effectiveness and capability of our staff and people leaders to successfully deliver key outcomes for the Authority.
We are looking for an experienced Business Partner, with a passion for promoting ongoing learning and development and will be able to partner with a wide range of stakeholders with creative ideas and competing priorities to better understand their needs and develop a range of fit-for-purpose learning experiences that support our staff. You will be able to demonstrate:
- A breadth and depth of experience that will enable you to champion our Learning and Organisational Development initiatives into a newly formed progressive and dynamic work environment.
- Working knowledge of a Learning Management System and authoring tools.
- Tertiary qualifications in learning and development, adult education, human resource management or a related discipline and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
