To continue our success, an opportunity is now available for a talented and professional **C**ommercial Coordinator** **to join our team. Reporting to the commercial manager the prime focus will be to provide commercial support to the BMT operating unit in Australia.

**Responsibilities & Tasks**
- Assist with the preparation and negotiation of contracts ranging from supplier/ subcontractor contracts through to customer contracts and NDA’s.
- Assisting the Commercial Manager with reviewing, drafting and negotiation of contracts in accordance with the BMT Contract Principles and BMT’s delegation matrix.
- Support administrative aspects of the subcontractor contracting process.
- Being a member of the wider Commercial Team and acting as a local ambassador for the Commercial Team.
- Support the Commercial Manager on commercial projects from time to time including implementing new commercial working practices.
- Supporting the Operating Units on commercial issues that arise post contract signature such as disputes, payment issues, and completion of the contract.

**You will have**:

**Essential -**
- Experience in reviewing and assisting with contract negotiations and administration of commercial agreements with customers and suppliers.
- Experience dealing with post contract signature tasks such as assisting with payment issues, disputes, and contract completion.
- Experience with supporting sub-consultant engagement including back-to-back agreements.
- Can build and maintain relationship with customers, partners, and other stakeholders, at all levels of the business.
- Has excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
- Outcome/results focused with strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Pragmatic with appropriate attention to detail.

**Desirable -**
- Knowledge of Environment, Mining, Oil and Gas contracting industry would be preferable.
- BMT will have a growing focus on procurement and supply chain management in the coming year so a background/ experience in this discipline will be highly regarded.
