**About the Role**

As the Commercial Construction Coordinator, you will work in the Procurement and Commercial team and be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of construction related contracts, monitoring contractor performance, advising on contract terms and providing sound commercial and contractual advice. The role provides assistance in financial forecasting, cost-based risk management, compliance and review, to achieve contractual and project performance outcomes.

**About You**

To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated commercial experience and ability in the administration of construction contracts and agreements, with a comprehensive understanding of commercial and legal issues that impact the delivery of major infrastructure projects. You will have experience in procurement, reviewing and resolving commercial matters raised by tenderers, and the preparation of contracts, and assisting in the resolution of contract issues and disputes.

You will have effective communication skills with the ability to explain contract requirements, terms and conditions and the need for compliance in a meaningful way to stakeholders, given the complexity of many contracts and the diverse needs of stakeholders.

You will be motivated and have a genuine interest in the innovative industry thinking and best practice, with the ability to adapt to change and influence behavioural change to adopt new technologies and processes.
