**About Our Client**:
Northside Community Service is a not-for-profit that has been working hand in glove with the local community in North Canberra and surrounds since 1976, delivering in areas of early education, in-home elderly care support and affordable housing.
They are a progressive organisation that embraces diversity and advocacy, community development initiatives, outreach programs, and volunteer opportunities. Ultimately Northside Community Service aim to create a stronger, more inclusive community where everyone can thrive.
As they enter a next phase of growth they are seeking a new Chief Executive Officer.
This is a role for a proven leader, capable of running a complex, medium sized not for profit organisation with several distinct divisions.
You should be adept at working with a board (or similar oversight authority) and galvanising and developing a leadership cohort below you.
**The Successful Applicant**:
We're seeking an experienced community or charity sector CEO, or even someone with a background in a related regulated sector, able to bring a seasoned view of existing operations and people.
Knowledge across community programs and activities, grants, fundraising and stakeholder management should be on your CV, as well as a sound capability with operational and financial management.
