**Selection Criteria**:

**Role**:
Full time (7.6 hours per day Monday to Friday, 7:00am start)
The successful applicant is responsible for preparing and implementing the school's timetable to reflect the curriculum directions and priorities of the College and the VGSA (2022) agreement. They will ensure absent staff are covered daily and follow up absences and time in lieu in Edupay. They will advertise and manage recruitment online positions (both teaching and education support). They will have excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to work collaboratively with staff.
**Responsibilities**:
**Daily Organiser**
- Assist with the management of Casual Relief Teachers and their effective integration into the school.
- Allocate each morning to cover classes and duties of absent staff either through the allocation of covers or with Casual Relief Teachers (CRTs).
- Liaise with teaching staff in relation to work left for classes affected by teacher absences.
- Prepare accurate and up-to-date reports to the Leadership Team on staff covers and in-lieu replacements.
- Ensure the Daily Organisation Bulletin is up-to-date reflecting daily staff changes.
- Provide relief to Administration areas, as required.
- Work with relvant staff to organise staffing for excursions, camps and other school activities; ensuring that DET guidelines regarding staff/student ratios and safety are met.
- Liaise with PD Coordinator to help manage Professional Development days.
**Timetabler**
- Lead the development and maintenance of a timetable that reflects College priorities and promotes effective teaching and learning.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of Edval or an equivalent timetabling packing.
- Review and oversee the the publication and implementation of an annual timeline and process for the development of the College timetable.
- Consult with the leadership team regarding the number of classes, periods and staffing requriements to enable timely decision-making in relation to College planning.
- Conduct an annual evaluation of the timetable in relation to curriculum, staffing and other resourcing priorities, and provide advice to the leadership team.
- Identify and resolve timetable problems and find appropriate solutions where there are potential conflicts.
- Manage the timetable when staff are on leave.
- Communicate timetable information to all staff in a timely manner.
- LIaise with Enrolment and Exits Officer and Year Level Leaders to keep up-to-date with student exits and enrolments.
- Work with and advise Principal staff on timetable groupings, blockings, allotments and allowances.
- Generate all exam schedules, including Trial Exams.
**HR Manager**
- Follow up all staff absences in Edupay (personal, leave without pay, long service leave).
- Submit SLP (School Local Payroll) timesheets in a timely manner.
- Advertise and manage recruitment online positions (both teaching and education support).
- HR experience is preferred.
**General**
- Develop, establish and review organisational policies and procedures which assist in the effective running of the school.
- Advanced level of administration and organisational skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in relation to all staff operations in general.
- Be familiar with, and comply with, all College policies and procedures.
Other duties as directed by the Principal or Business Manager.
