As the Coordinator you will be responsible for:

- Providing a specialised service managing, developing, maintaining and coordinating the traffic management requirements for our capital works programs.
- Coordinating staff to ensure the integration of traffic management and signage operations.
- Providing traffic management advice and support to the City of Mandurah Operations Services and other staff.
- Managing, developing and coordinating the sign maintenance/installation requirements for the City.
- Coordinating the maintenance and installation of bollards, pedestrian facilities and benches within the road reserve.
- Coordinating the maintenance and new installation of line marking on roads and carparks.
- Assisting with the introduction and implementation of business planning and continuous improvement within City Traffic and signage teams.

**To be successful you will have**:

- Appropriate tertiary qualification in engineering, traffic or operations with five (5) years relevant experience
- Hold a current unrestricted C class national driver’s licence
- Worksite traffic management accreditation
- Advanced Worksite Traffic Management (AWTM)
- Roadworks Traffic Manager RTM (desirable)
- Extensive experience in preparation of traffic management plans
- Developed knowledge in road, drainage and shared path construction and maintenance relating to signage and traffic management
- Working knowledge and experience in tender evaluations, contract administration and management
- Understanding and implementation of quality assurance procedures
- High level leadership and coordination skills
- Report writing and presentation ability
- High level organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level judgement, problem-solving and consultation skills

**The finer details**

This Level 7 full time permanent position attracts a salary range of $100,090 - $106,351 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience and includes Restricted Private Use of a Council Vehicle (contributory).
