Our client is an organisation in the Defence industry that is at the forefront of technology and is one of the leaders in Australia's National Security. They are engaged in the integration and sustainment of advanced technology system's and have products and services across aeronautics, maritime, surveillance and defence domains.

Primary Responsibilities:
Provide technical, operational, and training support to users of company's personal computers either by
telephone or on-site relative to desktop hardware and software packages. Perform hardware
diagnostics and coordinate repairs. Assist in planning and designing personal computer support
systems. Act as liaison for data transfer systems design and implementation. Install and test personal
computers, printers, and other peripherals; configures operating system, shrink-wrap programs, and

Work Requirements
- Provide 1st and 2nd level helpdesk support, for users and computers across the business.
- Support the planning, evaluation, design, development, documentation, installation, implementation,

testing & sustainment of desktop solutions.
- Support the generation, development, & documentation of detailed test plans, procedures, and

other requirements.
- Contribute to conducting testing & documenting results in appropriate systems.
- Assist users on issues found during acceptance testing and ensure resolution is obtained.
- Support end-user incident and problem resolution.
- Assist in ensuring that system documentation and performance levels are maintained.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of server and client images.
- Demonstrate quality service and accountability in resolving incidents and service requests,

supporting daily operations and ensuring system stability.
- Gather, summarise, interpret, report, & maintain information regarding technical support activities.
- Develop solutions to assigned problems of limited scope and assist in the implementation of

effective approved solutions.
- Comply with legislation and Company policies, processes and instructions, including those relating

to non-discrimination, environment, safety, duty of care, and the quality management system.
- Display behaviours that reflect the Company values.

- Good communication skills including the ability to prepare and present concise oral and written

reports, briefings, updates and other documentation to internal stakeholders
