Our client is a building approval and inspection service based in Maitland. They are a family-owned business who pride themselves on offering professional and high-quality service to their clients.

They are a fast-paced, deadline driven company, so you’ll need to be self-driven, have excellent time management skills, and have high attention to detail. You will thrive on delivering timely & accurate accounts and additional administrative or accounts tasks as time allows. You will have proven yourself to be an excellent communicator who can meet deadlines, solve problems, remain flexible and work with a team.

The primary focus is Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliation and BAS. Ideally you will have experience in:

- Coordinating and processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Delivering a consistent, timely and accurate accounts service
- Managing month-end functions including bank and credit card reconciliation
- Reporting and resolving account discrepancies
- Excel to an advanced level
- MYOB or other cloud based accounting program

Ideally you will also have:

- Work experience within a customer focused, building environment
- Strong computer skills with an excellent understanding of Microsoft Office
- The ability to prepare quality work with mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and be able to grasp concepts quickly
- Ability to work as a team and think outside the square
