At the heart of our expansion is our new state of the art facility in Australia which incorporates our head office, manufacturing operations, retail factory store and 3rd party warehouse distribution centre.
**The Position**
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced independent grocery **Territory Manager **to join our sales team selling our premium and innovative range of products. The primary purpose of the role is to effectively manage, promote and sell our products within grocery retail channels in order to maximise brand exposure, sales volumes and profits.
You will develop excellent relationships within your set geographic territory of customers and look to increase your base of existing customers. On a daily basis, you will execute sales cycle initiatives for new product distribution, off location displays, promotional compliance and distribution targets. A key objective is to ensure that Lindt's core range is available at all times, upholding store standards and adherence to the cycle priorities. Reporting to the State Field Operations Manager, you will also provide updates on customer issues, sales accomplished and opportunities within your stores.
**The Person**
- Degree qualification preferred, but not essential
- Proven sales and merchandising success within the FMCG industry
- Experience in dealing with wholesalers and major retail chains (Foodland, Drakes, IGA and Discount Department Stores etc)
- Willingness and ability to undertake regional customer visits
- Strong analytical (including Trade Maths), negotiating and influencing skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Excellent planning and multi-tasking skills.
- A valid Driver's License
