Inside Sales Representative

About the Position:
The Sales Development Representative position is an important role in generating leads and appointments, collaborating closely with our account management teams and sales professionals.
The SDR will utilise various resources such as Salesforce, public databases, and business intelligence services to identify and engage targeted contacts, introduce solutions, and schedule appointments for the sales team.
Our client specialises in providing comprehensive software and services, and while it is not expected that the SDR will close deals over the phone, they will be responsible for qualifying leads and identifying the prospects' needs and decision criteria in order to match them with our competitive solutions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Engage with 10-12 contacts daily to introduce our solutions and generate interest for a meeting
- Schedule an average of 2 meetings per day with interested contacts
- Maintain accurate records of call and activity notes in our CRM database
- Communicate effectively with team members to transition call and meeting information, as well as receive new account information from the team
- Maintain daily contact with the sales management team to discuss accounts and prospects
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least one year of sales experience
- Experience in a similar industry or selling similar products is a plus
- Strong understanding of the sales process and how different events in the lifecycle impact a prospect’s decision criteria
- Positive, engaging, and resilient approach to outbound outreach position and duties
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Strong reasoning skills and the ability to explain how a customized set of services might be combined to create an overall client solution
- This role may require travel to company offices
