**About the opportunity
**The Planning Specialist is responsible for coordinating the forward planning of raw material requirements to service the demand channels, in addition to short term production plan coordination and sequencing.

Partner closely with the planning teams across our secondary manufacturing sites, supermarket replenishment teams and Greenstock Sales & Trading teams to successfully execute the S&OP model.

This position demands a unique blend of technical proficiency and interpersonal skills.

**What you’ll do
- Consolidation and conversion of demand from all channels into forward raw materiasl supply plans over multiple time horizons.
- Coordination of short term production plans and sequencing for a number of Primary Processing sites across three different proteins (Beef, Lamb & Pork), servicing 3 Secondary Processing facilities in addition to foodservice and export channels.
- Assist in the implementation of the new S&OP model in addition to developing and implementing the strategic initiatives over a 3-5 year horizon.
- Foster collaborative and strong working relationships across Greenstock, the Woolworths ecosystem and external partners.Drive planning excellence by leveraging expertise in planning systems. Proactively identify and implement enhancements to meet business needs.

**What you’ll bring
- Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or sufficient relevant industry experience.
- Strong experience in planning and supply chain operations. Temperature controlled FMCG background preferred, with meat industry experience highly desired.
- Exposure to generating and interpreting supply and demand forecasts and short shelf life product supply chainsProven expertise in planning systems, including mastery of master data and system setup, alongside the ability to efficiently operate planning tools and proactively identify areas for improvement. Experience with Quintiq is desired.
