**The Role**
As a member of the Sustainment Logistics Governance and Assurance section, you will lead a team and be accountable with providing guidance to Contracted Stock Item Owners, planning oversight and conducting materiel and logistics related Sustainment tasks.

You will be required to collaborate across the organisation and provide detailed materiel logistics technical, professional and policy advice in relation to complex work while contributing to strategic planning, program & project management and policy development.

You will provide the management and oversight of inventory disposals, inventory compliance & assurance testing, liaison with stakeholders & enterprise collaborates and may assist with procurement & compliance reporting activities.

You will have knowledge of the Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS) and the Defence Electronic Supply Chain Manual.

**About our Team**
The Collins Submarine Program within the National Shipbuilding Sustainment Group (NSSG) is responsible for the maintenance and programmed upgrade of Australia’s Collins Class submarines. The Program works in partnership with the Royal Australian Navy and Industry to deliver the strategic submarine capability to the nation.

- Be accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions to work through tasks and projects to meet deadlines;
- Undertake research and analysis, conduct reviews and perform procedural work to achieve results;
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Have exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy;
- Be ready to adapt to the implementation of the new Defence ERP system scheduled for September 2024; and
- Demonstrate commitment to the Defence Behaviours.
