The Department of Training and Workforce Development WA is seeking a highly skilled Curriculum Innovation Research Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Curriculum Innovation Program, you will play a critical role in enhancing the integration of pathways between schools, vocational education and training (VET), and universities.
Key Responsibilities- Support curriculum development projects and solutions related to the Western Australian Government's priorities, including Defence, Transport and Logistics, Clean and Renewable Jobs, Advanced Manufacturing, and others.
- Manage the development of curriculum and training products for emerging industry needs, including the clean energy sector.
- Collaborate with industry, TAFE, and other registered training organisations (RTOs) to ensure the quality and integrity of qualifications in Western Australia.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform curriculum development and ensure it meets the needs of the Western Australian workforce.
- Experience in managing curriculum development projects and a focus on project management.
- Strong analytical research skills and the ability to work with industry stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Western Australian training system and the ability to work with TAFE and RTOs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
