About the Role
The IT Store Development Coordinator is part of the Bapcor IT Store Development team and assists in the setup of new and existing Bapcor locations with IT systems and hardware. This role focus also includes conversions, upgrades and decommissioning of IT systems and hardware at existing locations. This is an opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative and growing team and make your mark within a fast-growing ASX listed organisation.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Coordinate IT Store development activity schedule for new sites, acquisitions, relocations, closures and upgrades
- Plan, coordinate and install IT Store hardware and software as required
- Ensure selected IT equipment is pre-staged prior to installation
- Coordinate voice and data network service setup and cutovers for sites
- Contribute to the creation of processes and procedures across the IT Service Delivery team
- Monitor the progress of IT Store Development activities and escalate issues as appropriate
- Provide support to service desk as required including Coaching/Cross-skilling 1st Level/2nd Level team on store systems
- Maintain inventory for IT Store development activity to ensure hardware availability
- Maintain and handover new and changed store configurations
- Assist with decommissioning and repurposing equipment at Bapcor Locations as required
- Assist with troubleshooting during store systems installations and decommissioning
- Support Bapcor Software and systems (eg Pronto/MoPro/Puppet/AT Mode)
- Provide support for Desktops, Laptops, Thin Client, POS during Hypercare periods
About You
- Minimum six months experience in a customer focused helpdesk or second level technical support role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience assembling and configuring store PCs, POS, printers, workstations and POS systems
- Experience with the use of Remote Control/Access software (TeamViewer, RDP etc.)
- Understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, networking equipment including configuration)
- Strong understanding of printers and peripheral devices
- Excellent knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange
- Sound knowledge of MS Office Suite - installation, configuration and support
