**Location: Australia (Remote)**

**Your Impact**
This position will be the primary liaison between the Company's international operations and the Finance organization. It will be responsible for ensuring strong controllership, including commercial contract structuring, quote approvals and revenue recognition for all legal entities in the EMEA region.

**Your Day to Day**
- Develop collaborative, responsive relationships with regional operating leaders in Sales, Commercial Operations and R&D and be their primary point of contact to navigate revenue related Finance matters
- Review quotes to ensure proper system setup to enable appropriate revenue treatment in accordance with ASC 606
- Review contracts for key terms and conditions and analyze how it will impact revenue treatment
- Develop an extensive understanding of Axon products and bundles
- Research technical accounting issues for complex transactions or arrangements in accordance with ASC 606 and draft memos on key findings
- Help coordinate new product and pricebook setups to ensure proper revenue recognition patterns
- Serve as liaison to coordinate with Accounting Operations on credit approvals, customer invoicing, accounts payable escalations and with Treasury on letters of credit
- Collaborate with the relevant Finance and other cross-functional expertise at HQ to be able to provide timely advice to international leaders
- Develop and own a reviewable dashboard that can be presented to executive leadership on a recurring basis reflecting controllership risks across international regions
- Work closely with Revenue Accounting Operations to ensure timely revenue close
- Other duties that may arise

**Skills Required**:

- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Financial Accounting, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation preferred, but not required
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in the accounting profession, with an emphasis in understanding differences between U.S. GAAP and IFRS or local GAAP
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 and/or IFRS 15
- Minimum of three (3) years revenue recognition experience (multiple element arrangements with SaaS)
- Must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and highly responsive customer service mindset
- Concern for high-quality deliverables and deadlines
- Superb attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
