What you’ll do:
The Commercial Manager is responsible for administrating, consulting and/or negotiating product/service contracts with external customers. You will be involved in developing pre-sales contract strategies and working closely with marketing, sales, and business management teams to structure proposals/contracts/bid documents.

You will manage the full end to end process, negotiating contracts that are consistent with business objectives and engaging in contract amendments and renegotiation to accommodate scope changes. You will make sure that contractual obligations are fulfilled from contracting parties and coordinate / develop strategies to respond to contract breach.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Prepare and update Commercial Models for tenders/bids including cost assessments.
- Develop and implement enhancement of the Commercial Model and Process.
- Ensure that all risk factors are effectively managed in quotations, during contract negotiations and pricing strategies and different options on risk management to maximise potential for contract award.
- Providing contract support to our projects that includes negotiating and finalising any ongoing disputes regarding Contract’s T&Cs, coordinating contractual documents and managing project accounts.
- Prepare, consolidate and release weekly/monthly reports on the activity and performance of the contract, Sales Pipeline Dashboard and Quarterly MW Order Book, etc.
- Manage the Contracts Governance, Reporting and Consolidation and also Insurance facilitation.
- Overall governance and management of insurance related activities such as PRI Monthly process, Reports, etc.
- Commitment to the other responsibilities of dept. such as Consultancy Payment, Group Risk Management Policy, etc.
- Prepare and maintain business presentations and other department files.
- Regular customer interactions including resolution of contract disputes.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

- Experience in a similar role, preferably within energy, utilities or engineering sectors
- A strong understanding of contracts from a commercial perspective
- Experience coordinating between sales team and legal team to ensure compliance and commerciality
- Contracts experience in transactional business contracts
- Strong negotiation skills
