**ABOUT THE**
**ROLE***:We are seeking a passionate Volunteer Coordinator to join our Healthy Ageing team at Mercy Health.
**Summary of the role**:
- Permanent full-time position
- Based at Mercy Health's head office and reporting to the Group Manager Community Experience (Quality Safety and Innovation Division)
- Travel between sites and our head office in Richmond will be required
- This important role oversees the coordination of volunteers across our Healthy Ageing portfolio (residential aged care, home care and independent living units)
- You will be responsible for supporting and strengthening our Volunteering Program and ensuring a coordinated approach at site level
- You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team ensuring that the Volunteering Program is responsive to the needs of those we care for
**ABOUT YOU:
- Relevant qualifications relating to management of volunteer programs, community engagement or aged care
- Experience working with and managing volunteers
- Experience in adult education development and delivery
- Demonstrated interest and commitment to aged care
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
