**About Advancement**
The Advancement Office aims to facilitate the establishment and maintenance of mutually beneficial relationships between the University and its alumni, friends, and benefactors. It is responsible for the management of programs relating to alumni and benefactors and provides services to and works collaboratively with faculties and other central administration areas.

**About the Role**
As the Gift Coordinator, you will be a key member of the Gift Operations team in the Advancement Division. The Gift Operations team provides a range of services relating to the establishment of new gifts to the University, receipting of gifts and coordinating the annual gift financial reporting program.

You will support University staff to receive gifts which the University can accept and administer well to positively impact students, research, and the community. You will also draft gift documentation, liaise with internal stakeholders, undertake research and provide advice, and participate in continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

- Draft gift documentation using standard templates for gifts coming into the University
- Attend meetings and discussions to build key stakeholder relationships where you will support troubleshooting and resolution of issues
- Support the provision of advice to stakeholders on the processes relating to gift coordination by researching, interpreting and understanding relevant policies, regulations and legislation
- Help provide best practice Gift Operations services by triaging service requests, supporting other team members, and building knowledge across team functions

**About You**
You will have excellent attention to detail particularly in relation to reviewing and understanding written materials and drafting written documents or correspondence. Your track record of proactively taking responsibility for tasks and managing expectations of stakeholders, enables you to effectively prioritise competing tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

You will also have strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a customer-focused environment, demonstrating a commitment to providing a professional client service experience.

You will also operate discreetly and appropriately in relation to sensitive information.

You will also have:

- Appropriate undergraduate qualification in a relevant discipline together with moderate experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training per the current Enterprise Agreement classifications
