**About the Role**
You will get the chance to make a meaningful impact through engagement with the University of Melbourne's fundraising community. You’ll play a crucial role in working with the Foundation Relations team to seek grant funding from philanthropic trusts and foundations for faculty and University-wide priorities.

The role will provide critical support for the team to manage the administration and submission of trust and foundations grants, ranging from $10,000 - $5M+.

Responsibilities include:

- Undertake research and assessments on potential philanthropic grant opportunities and compile and maintain a grants calendar

**Who we are looking for**
You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to prioritise allows you to meet competing deadlines and achieve goals and objectives in a collaborative manner across a large organisation. Your high-level attention to detail also ensures you deliver consistent and accurate work.

You will also have:

- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training as per the current Enterprise Agreement classifications
- Strong skill set in project coordination and managing competing priorities for a team, including process development
- Demonstrated experience in managing philanthropic gifts or partnerships or other relevant experience
