**The opportunity**:
The Engagement & Philanthropy team at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Supporter Relations Team as a Database Coordinator - Gifts and Funding.

As the Database Coordinator, you will play a critical role in maximising the value of MCRI's gift and funding data. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of our donor database: BlackBaud's Raiser's Edge, and driving improvements in end-to-end database processes, fundraising, and finance reporting.

Working with the Engagement & Philanthropy team, you will have the opportunity to prioritise the interests, expectations and needs of our supporters, ensuring that they have an exceptional experience when supporting our Institute's work. You will focus on creating meaningful opportunities to build lifelong relationships with MCRI and gain the trust and respect needed for sustained giving.

**Your responsibilities include**:
Accountable for processing gifts and donor record maintenance
Establishing and maintaining agreed-upon gift entry procedures and coding standards
Developing and providing regular reporting from the database
Accountable for creating and executing standard and customised database reports that meet the evolving needs of the Leadership and Engagement & Philanthropy teams to support planning and decision-making

**About you**:
2 years’ experience in similar positions, preferably using Raiser's Edge
Excellent database reporting skills (Raisers Edge NXT dashboard reporting looked upon favourably)
Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently
