Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) is a statutory body whose role is to oversee all harness racing activity in Victoria. With strong links to rural and regional communities, we are committed to developing a vibrant and sustainable harness racing industry which promotes participation, integrity and racing excellence.

We value all our customers, from our participants - which include trainers, drivers, breeders and owners - to our regional clubs, industry stakeholders and fans of the sport. We work closely with the other Victorian racing codes to support the ethical treatment of our animals, as well as ethical wagering.

**The Opportunity**

HRV has an exciting opportunity within the Flemington Head Office as the Integrity Operations Manager reporting into to the General Manager of Integrity.

The Integrity Department is key in upholding the integrity of the industry through its focus on animal welfare, and transparent and fair conduct of racing.

The Integrity Operations Manager will ensure that all areas of Integrity (Investigations and Stewards) follow appropriate processes as well as instigates and manages special projects as required to enhance the performance and efficiency of the Integrity Department.

This position also requires regular consultation with various key internal and external stakeholders.

**About You**

You will be someone who has strong appreciation for regulations and an affinity for compliance. You will also have well-developed judgement, leadership, planning and organisational skills, particularly in relation to managing competing priorities and leading through change.

Highly developed collaboration and engagement skills, including the ability to negotiate, liaise and influence colleagues and stakeholders are also key requirements of the role.

A genuine desire to work and contribute to protecting the integrity of the racing industry is a must.

The successful applicant will be required to successfully complete background checks in accordance with company policy and protocols.

Some travel between HRV head office located in Flemington, Melton and country clubs may be required. The position holder must possess a current Victorian motor vehicle drivers' licence.
