**What you will be doing**:
Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with Non-Government Organisation (NGO) Managers and other relevant NGO staff, Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) Team Leaders, Nursing Unit Managers and Senior Managers.
Actively contribute to the development of high quality operational planning involving partnerships in mental health, including development of and sustaining collaborative working relationships between NBMLHD’s Mental Health Service and NGOs/National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) providers.
Coordinate and support the NGO grants program in mental health in collaboration with NBMLHD NGO Coordinator, in accordance with the Ministry of Health (MOH) NGO Grant Program Operational Guidelines.

**Selection Criteria to be Addressed**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health related field or public health or equivalent experience.
- Excellent written, interpersonal skills, computer literacy, and the proven ability to communicate, liaise and negotiate effectively with all organisational levels, NGOs, mental health interest groups, and the community.
- Detailed knowledge of issues and policies affecting NGOs and mental health service developments/planning in NSW, including an understanding of the ‘Living Well Report’ by the Mental Health Commission.
- Proven ability to facilitate change management and make complex judgements and take initiative through delegated responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Demonstrated efficiency in time management that includes an ability to organise workloads with competing priorities, limited resources and the complexities of multi-agency communications regarding NGO service delivery.
- Current NSW driver’s licence and willingness to use for work purposes.
