**Your new company**
Our client is a specialist commercial construction company with over 25 years market experience in the area of food and beverage facility construction, fruit ripening, cold storage, food processing and facility safety design. They have recently secured sole Australian distribution rights to the world's leading brand of integrated safety products to the warehouse and logistics industry. The range includes defence posts, barriers, rails and frames to protect doorways, entrances, walkways, racking and more. Due to the unique design of this range of protection systems, their impact resistance and mechanical performance are considered best in class.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the Managing Director, the position will be responsible for the following:
- Strategic planning and implementation of sales pipeline, materials and CRM across all areas of the company
- Achievement of sales and profitability budgets in all markets of the company
- The development of key relationships within the Australian/NZ market.
- The management of post project Customer Service delivery including marketing and identification of further opportunities.
- Preparation of quotations within established guidelines and policies.
- Positioning of the company brand and its sub-brands and managing the important relationships with associates, resellers and distributors.
- In conjunction with the Managing Director and Marketing Manager, manage key relationships, presentations, service calls and new business proposals.
- Market analysis/ competitive intelligence/ sales strategy.
**What you'll need to succeed**
This specialist position will ideally suit a person able to work as part of a small team with global partners and clients whilst able to demonstrate the following:
- Ability to navigate a growing market, create solid business processes and pursue opportunities via exceptional time management.
- Technical product aptitude. A knowledge of commercial and industrial construction projects and processes.
- Ability to relate and engage at all levels.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Strong organisational skills and strategic thinking.
- Strong understanding of the insulated panel, cold storage, construction industry.
- A strong sense of accountability and a desire to accept responsibility for business outcomes. A track record of working successfully with all internal stakeholders, from Operations to Marketing, Senior Management and Construction Management.
- IT proficiency including project management software.
- An aptitude for understanding and presenting commercial construction project scope equipment.
- Key account and sales pipeline management skills.
