The Business Development Manager will guide the Brand in its development in a market/a region amongst Key Retailers, helping them to improve current performances and increase Brand presence:
- Build and consolidate relationship with key retailers at Senior Level to set up and implement Maison Business Plan and gather all market intelligence,
- Represent and contribute to the development of Maison Portfolio within key retailers in terms of Retail Sales, Market Share, Net Sales and OP,
- Define a clear commercial development path with each key retailer.
- Liaise with the Leasing executive/agency and the Project Team responsible for all new shops, refits, re-models, store and furniture design projects, ensuring delivery of these projects on time and within budget.
**Key account management**
- Develop and build strong relationship with Retailers Senior Management
- Explore/Evaluate Medium-Long Term projects to ensure Brand share of space/voice with each allocated retailer
- Identify and ensure development opportunities for the Brand, including account and door openings options
- Consolidate and follow up Retailer P&L in liaison with local Finance team.
- Conduct regular market visit
- Work closely with each Retail/Brand Manager to follow up on the field initiatives in terms of marketing/merchandising implementation and execution
- Reviewing the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities and revising the schedule as required;
- Working cohesively with the team in developing the Company Goals and the strategies required to achieve them;

- Share and advise the Brand of all trade, marketing, and digital opportunities amongst retailers
- Share Key accounts’ vision and future projects with the Brand and build a competitive and innovative proposal
- Communicate and brief the Brand of any negotiation, initiate brief, conduct and follow up all steps of negotiation for
- commercial terms, space, and location (after liaising with our Leasing Executive/external agency).
- Cascade info/communication to appropriate teams and escalate to leadership appropriately (including HQ when
- necessary)
**Market Intelligence**
- Define Retailers market perspective, size and growth and propose a clear Retailer’s strategy
- Keep track of industry and competition happenings within Key Accounts
- Consolidate and Analyze Brand’s market share, share of voice, and potential within accounts and total key Account portfolio
- Market/Business Intelligence: gather market information related to the industry and key accounts (market size,distribution, pricing, launch results, ranking)
**About You**:
- This position requires a minimum of 5-7 years in key account management in a key market or at regional level with an international exposure
- Experience working in a large, matrixed, global organization strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of the property leasing market (retail, commercial and office) including the requirements the appropriate legislation with a proven track record in negotiations with Landlord, contractors and other
stakeholders;
- Experience in project management and delivering effective solutions and outcomes for the business;
