**How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne**

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the management, coordination, delivery and support of a wide range of external and internal projects aligned to business and tourism objectives including the delivery of research and analytics to inform the team’s direction and support the industry. Project management is a key skill requirement of the role and the Project Coordinator applies professional, comprehensive and contemporary project management expertise to all initiatives.

The position is accountable for all aspects across the project lifecycle: project planning, scoping, delivery, monitoring, reporting, quality management, stakeholder relationships and communication management. Projects outcomes need to be within time, budget and quality specifications, and using CoM preferred project methodologies.

**What you will bring**
- Well-developed project skills across all stages of a project lifecycle, particularly the ability to provide input into the planning process, develop and manage project plans, and deliver projects to all time, budget, governance and quality specifications.
- Proven ability to coordinate and deliver multiple projects simultaneously in a complex environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing contracts to deliver agreed performance outcomes, including ability to work within CoM’s formal contract management methodologies.
- Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and influence outcomes in a constructive manner.
- Good creative and analytical skills with ability to devise innovative, best practice, practical and commercially wise solutions and recommendations.
