**About the role**:
Seize the opportunity to become our Manager, Investigations within the Investigations Prosecutions team, part of Investigations and Enforcement at the State Insurance Regulatory Authority.

Your leadership will guide and inspire our team as they conduct major, complex investigations, inspections, and targeted operations to uphold and strengthen compliance with SIRA's relevant legislation and deal with escalated matters relating to Employer Enforcement activities.

**In this role, you will**:

- Provide clear operational direction and inspiring leadership to foster a culture of teamwork, achievement, and accountability.
- Develop and empower our talented staff, ensuring they're ready to take on new challenges and responsibilities while preparing for the future.
- Mentor and support our Investigators to excel in their roles.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders - investigators, inspectors, lawyers, and management - as well as external partners like icare, insurers, and legal representatives.

**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:

- Appropriate qualifications and/or significant industry experience.
- Proven expertise in leading operational staff, providing invaluable support and mentorship in high-volume, high-pressure environments.
- A track record of skilfully conducting and managing investigations and inspections, proficiently gathering evidence, and preparing briefs for prosecution.
- Advanced knowledge of criminal law, rules of evidence, criminal procedures, and administrative law.
- Familiarity with electronic Investigation Case Management Systems, enabling you to oversight investigations efficiently and effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to produce timely, well-crafted reports and effortlessly engage with stakeholders both inside and outside the organization.
- Demonstrated experience in leading the development and execution of successful compliance programs.
