**Overall purpose of the job**:
As a Food and Beverage Manager

Your primary role entails overseeing and facilitating the seamless and prosperous functioning of our bistro, with a central emphasis on delivering an exceptional level of customer satisfaction. The core responsibility revolves around the effective management of Food and Beverage (F&B) operations to guarantee a positive and memorable dining experience for our patrons.

Your role will encompass a diverse range of tasks related to the hotel and F&B activities, with a particular emphasis on food, bar, and gaming operations. We require a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar managerial role, where your expertise in these domains was pivotal to the success of the establishment.

You will also be responsible for ‘hands on’ operations, you will ‘’lead from the floor’’ and ensure the highest standards of customer service, whilst complying with company policies and NSW legislative requirements.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Overseeing daily F&B operations, including dining service, events and catering
- Managing the budget for the food and beverage, including monitoring expenses, and implementing cost-effective strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborating with chefs to create and update menus based on market trends, customer preferences, and cost considerations
- Supervising daily activities of the bistro including compliance and regulations of liquor and gaming
- Monitoring sales to ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the bistro
- Assisting in human resource management including training and supervising wait and kitchen staff to ensure they provide exceptional service
- Assist with marketing and business development initiatives and supervising advertising campaigns
- Maintaining quality service and high level of customer satisfaction
- Supervising and assisting security arrangements, property maintenance and reception activities
- Managing rostering and scheduling of restaurant and bar staff
- Conducting risk inspections and ensuring the relevant health and safety rules and regulations are complied

**Experience & Skills Required**
- Strong / well rounded experience within the restaurant/bar/pub industry
- Excellent up-to-date F&B product knowledge including cocktails
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and supervise a team and ensure they deliver an excellent customer experience
- At least 2 years work experience with relevant qualifications in hospitality management
- Proven knowledge of cash handling and back of house operations
- Good knowledge of OLGR and industry regulations
- Strong cellar operations knowledge
- Sound computer competency skills
- Ability to work hospitality hours including days, nights and weekends
- Current RSA & RCG

**Salary**: $76,000.00 per year

Schedule:
