**About the position**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, eager professional to join our fast growing Operations Team right in the heart of the Sydney CBD. This exciting new role as an Operations Assistant is a fantastic opportunity for a self motivated, hard working Individual. The role will see you work, assist and be mentored by a very experienced, well respected Operations Manager within the Industry. You will learn about the diverse roles in OTC trading and digital payment industry, and grow to be an Operations and Administration all-rounder to really own the function in the group.

Forexco Group is a portfolio of businesses within the Finance sector providing complimentary financial services. It provides administrative and management services for its group companies operating in business segments offered to wholesale clients.
The companies in the group that you would be working across includes Prime Treasury Services Pty Ltd and Prime Trading Services Pty Ltd. Prime Treasury Services is registered as an independent remittance dealer facilitating business transactions through its offering of non cash remittance services as well as currency exchange in cryptocurrency as well as a broad range of fiat currencies. Prime Trading Services provides market access and trade execution services, through an on-line trading platform.

**Your Role**:
The business is fast evolving and introducing a number of new products and services. As an Operations Assistant, combined with your understanding and training of OTC FX CFDs and digital payments you will be providing executive support, assisting in project management and performing administrative functions to support Forexco. Group and its group entities in order to deliver:

- Depth of competency amongst the team.
- A market-leading service to our clients.
Day to day this role will see you assist in daily trade operations, intercompany administration and banking, working closely with internal teams and liaising with clients with the support of the Operations Manager. You will develop a thorough understanding of transactions handled including the key risks and controls associated with each, and relevant regulatory & legal implications.

**Principle Responsibilities**:

- To assist in managing daily operations including but not limited to trade processing, confirmation, settlement and liaising with trade service providers and banking partners.
- Assist in Client onboarding process and static data maintenance.
- Assist in the responsibility for all daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations performed within the prescribed regulatory guidelines, in order to produce reports to management.
- Assist in coordinating and align with external and internal stakeholders to escalate and resolve issues, providing assistance as necessary.
- General administration and banking duties for Forexco. Group.
- Assist in managing Operations sub-projects / work streams in the context of development of the product offering and development of the entities within the Group.
- To work with the Sales team regarding trade services and respective new product approval.
- Assist in the review and enhancement of internal operation procedures.
- Work with inhouse accountant and assist in Bank reconciliations in accounting software, Xero, for the group entities
- Assist in management of petty cash accounts, credit card statements & other day to day activities in Xero.
- Adhoc duties as required by Senior Management and the office.

**Qualifying Requirements**:
**Competencies**:

- Proven customer service orientation, energetic and enthusiastic
- Flexible and accommodating as this role may require extra hours out of normal work hours
- Computer skills (more specifics ie MS Excel etc)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working under pressure and is results driven
- Works confidently in a team environment
**Preferred**:

- Prior Experience in OTC Trading brokerage industry or remittance sector industry
- RG146 Qualification
- Understanding of AML/CTF compliance framework
- Ability to speak other languages highly desirable

**Process**

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Sydney, NSW 2000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
