What You'll DoLightscape presented by Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria and Sony Music Entertainment Australia, is a 2km journey of light and sound through Melbourne Gardens at night, featuring installations by international and Australian artists.To support this incredibly popular event, RBGV are seeking a Visitor Experience Officer (Lightscape enquiries) which is responsible for overseeing Lightscape phone and online enquiries. This role includes assisting visitors with frequently asked questions regarding the event or directing ticket sales to Ticketek. You will provide best practice visitor experience through professional, world-class customer service at the Melbourne Gardens Visitor Centre, in addition to working collaboratively as part of the a team, building positive workplace relationships to achieve organisational goals.
What You'll BringThe successful applicant will hold a qualification in relevant tourism, hospitality, or related team front-line position and/or demonstrated professional experience in leading customer service. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills which enable you successfully manage a range of customer queries. You will demonstrate sound judgement and problem-solving skills, in addition to a good knowledge of databases and software in the Microsoft Office suite. The successful applicant will have demonstrated a proven ability to positively contribute to a team culture.
