**IT Manager**

**Job Summary/Objective**:
The IT Manager will play a pivotal role in leading a diverse and skilled team focused on managing the transition of an insurance business's on-premises data centers to Azure cloud solutions. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong blend of management and technical skills, possessing a background in Networking Engineering and Systems Engineering. The primary responsibilities include overseeing a team dispersed across the APAC region, managing projects, and ensuring seamless migration to the cloud infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Manage and prioritize projects related to migrating on-premises data centers to Azure cloud.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between team members across different time zones.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise in Networking Engineering and Systems Engineering as needed.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and report to senior management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of new initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in managing IT teams, preferably in a global context.
- Strong technical background in Networking Engineering and Systems Engineering.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Project management expertise, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources efficiently.
