Turning Point and Spectrum are part of Eastern Health, the largest public health provider in the eastern suburbs, providing a comprehensive range of high quality acute, sub-acute, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care and community health services.
About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Projects Coordinator to join the Statewide Services team at Eastern Health. The Projects Coordinator will be responsible for day to day project management of a diverse range of improvement and innovation areas as well as the coordinating role for the ECADS consortium - a group of passionate health providers operating in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs. This role is mainly based in Richmond (some projects will also require undertaking work in the Eastern suburbs) and offers work/life balance flexibility. You will have an opportunity to work with Australia’s leading clinical and sector leaders to deliver initiatives within the health service.
The Statewide Services program at Eastern Health comprises Turning Point and Spectrum, both of which are highly regarded nationally in their areas of expertise. Turning Point is a leader in addiction and Spectrum a leader in personality disorders and complex PTSD- both change lives while working to enhance the health service system.
About you
**To be successful in this role you will possess**:
Demonstrated experience managing projects and initiatives
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement with proven ability to strategically engage, negotiate and influence others to achieve outcomes
Demonstrated strong administration skills with report writing or demonstrated ability to learn on the job
Well organized, accountable and with a positive attitude
‘Can-do’ approach with flexibility to support the team and manager with ad-hoc/priority tasks
Experience and/or qualifications in project / initiative management within a mental health, AOD, family or community health context - highly desirable
