Our newly revamped Probity and Corruption Prevention team is currently seeking to appoint a **Probity and Corruption Prevention Officer.**

In your role as **Probity and Corruption Prevention Officer, **you will be responsible for the triage and management of enquiries and matters received by the team, providing clear and accurate advice and escalating where required on a wide range of probity issues including conflicts of interest and fraud and corruption risks, particularly related to corporate service functions.

You will also work collaboratively with the team to actively engage and support stakeholders to increase awareness involving the proactive identification and prevention of probity issues and corruption and promote a culture of ethical decision making and best practice across the department.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of probity, corporate and governance risks and corruption prevention principles to review matters, conduct analysis and research and ask probing questions where required. With your excellent written and verbal communications, you incorporate that knowledge into accurate, clear and concise advice, response to questions, reports and other related documentation.

You will have demonstrated experience in delivering superior customer service and operational experience in handling sensitive and confidential matters. Your ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders of all levels allows you to provide effective and efficient support in current and emerging matters as well as the implementation and continuous improvement of probity and corruption prevention strategies.

**Essential Requirements**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in corruption control, probity, corporate governance, or another field relevant to the role.
- Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills and proven commitment in developing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with mínimal direction, display initiative and solve problems, both individually and as a member of a team
- Ability to grasp information quickly and be motivated to further develop knowledge and experience to grow into the role.
