Property & Compliance Officer

Our client has been a respected provider of aged care and community services across NSW. Built on an outstanding reputation of quality care and innovation, they deliver with genuine care, respect and compassion. Due to growth, we’re currently seeking a Property & Compliance Officer to join their team.
**The role**:
- Ensuring that property processes are followed and met in line with Regulations, By-laws, Property Policy, and statutory requirements.
- Communication with entities in regards to property related matters and collate information as required and provide input into recommendations.
- Facilitate information and approvals within the delegations of the organisation, and follow up correspondence with the appropriate person/s internally and externally.
- Receive and respond to property enquiries in a timely manner and provide direction and/or solutions;
- Review and recommend for approval, Development Applications (DA), Construction Certificates (CC), Complying Development Certificates (CDC), Leases, memorandum of understanding and user agreements;
- Provide reports on property information from databases and undertake research when required.
- Prepare documents and information for review and approval;
- Assisting to undertake reviews of properties where invited;
- Liaising with local councils and other property consultants.
- Provide administrative support to the Property Team as required; and
- Undertaking additional duties as directed.
- Assist in maintenance requests within the team
- Knowledge and or experience with preventative, reactive and corrective maintenance planning
**What we’re looking for**:
- Up to 3 years’ experience working in a property and customer service-related field and an administrative function.
- Experience in Property agreements (i.e Leasing, contracts and knowledge of council submissions and property compliance knowledge is a must).
- Experience with Maintenance team operations
- Relevant and demonstrated Property delivery experience.
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Ability to assess commercial and property proposals
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders, clients, volunteers, staff and management;
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as within a close team environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent report, written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of maturity and ability to exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive information, displaying initiative and a proactive approach to managing workload
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel;
