**The Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Officer to work in a dynamic and supportive environment at the Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registries (PCOR) Group, positioned within the Cancer Research Program, School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University.

Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registries includes PCOR-Victoria, the bi-national PCOR-Australia and New Zealand, as well as international projects such as the TrueNTH Global Registry (TNGR). These Registries collect and manage data on the diagnosis, treatment and quality of life of men diagnosed with prostate cancer driving improvements in the quality of care and outcomes for men. The PCOR Project Officer will be responsible for providing project coordination and operational support, and play a pivotal role in contributing to the effective operations of the PCOR registries. This will include (but not limited to):

- Providing project coordination support for activities undertaken as part of the PCOR responsibilities
- Working closely with PCOR Operations team and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely monitoring of project deliverables
- Provide support establishing and maintaining key project related documentation (reports, ethics documentation, project plans etc.)
- Provide database support for registry users across Australia and New Zealand
- Working with the PCOR Data Coordination and Analytics team to support data requests and analytics including research as required
- Supporting the effective operation of committees and working groups established as part of the projects

**Skills**

This position requires:

- Demonstrated project management skills, preferably in a health-related field, including the ability to manage time and meet deadlines
- Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft documentation and interact positively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Ability to work as an effective member of a team as well as independently under general supervision
- Good understanding of databases and health care systems, in particular clinical registries
- Some experience to perform basic data analytics
