Human Factors Support and Project Officer

Expressions of interest are sought for a suitably qualified and highly motivated person to become part of the Regional Express Human Factors Group (comprising of Safety, QA/Compliance, Security and Human Factors training).
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Support the applicable Group Safety, Group Security and Group Compliance and Quality (QA) Managers and Departments
- Attend SMG meetings and provide reports as required
- Manage the Human Factors Facilitators
- Manage and review the Rex HF/ NTS Manual
- Maintain the Group HF/NTS program for flight, Ground and Engineering Operations.
- Conduct Human Factors Facilitation
- Formalise significant and non-significant changes in connection with changes to applicable Manuals
- Support the Dangerous Goods (DG) Coordinator in maintaining the Group DG Program
- Support the development and writing of HFG policies and procedures as required
- Support the development and writing of HFG training material as required
- Review, assess, amend and provide continuing input into the Environmental Management System
- Participate in auditing activities as necessary
- Assist the Accountable Manager in preparing responses/reports to CASA, ATSB, other Regulatory Authorities and Third Party Auditors
- Carry out Human Factors projects as requested
**Selection Criteria**
- Experience in Human Factors;
- Qualifications or education in Human Factors;
- High attention to detail and accuracy;
- Proven organisational abilities;
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Highly developed written communication skills with demonstrated report writing ability;
- Previous experience in an office administration role;
- Advanced user of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Intermediate user of Microsoft Publisher;
- Formal qualifications or equivalent experience in Aviation, Safety Management or Business Administration will be highly regarded.
