**Your responsibilities will include**:
As a Health & Safety Advisor you will be required to interpret, recommend and assist with compliance for environmental, health and safety regulations and company policies, procedure and systems.

This is a hands on role, you will be expected to actively partner across the business to keep our people safe, maintaining strict legislative and company compliance, and protecting our environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the Company with respect to Environmental, Health & Safety matters.
- Plan, coordinate and manage activities to ensure compliance with ESH policies and procedures in accordance with LMA safety management systems and applicable legislation.
- Coordinate and conduct investigations into ESH related incidents, injuries, and hazards, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
- Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems, and provide and implement effective approved solutions.
- Actively attend and contribute to customer meetings as required
- Actively contribute to the successful completion of specific programs and initiatives.

**About you**:
We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor who has a genuine passion for partnering with operations.

Excellent communication skills are key, as you will be required to communicate and consult with stakeholders and provide appropriate information, instruction, and training to promote an environment, health and safety focused culture.

Qualifications & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Workplace Health & Safety etc.) from a recognised institution, and/or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience in a similar position with a focus on partnering with management to implement solid, practical and simplistic ESH management approaches and systems.
- Proven experience working within a medium to large organisation implementing ESH Management System changes across multiple sites and programs.
- Demonstrated experience of successfully achieving changes in workplace culture with improved awareness of safety and occupational health behaviours.
- Significant experience conducting ESH investigations of incidents and development of reports to senior management for corrective actions and improvements.

**Special Requirements**:

- Applicants are required to be eligible to obtain and maintain a CoA clearance at the Baseline level.
