**THE PROJECT**

The Utilities business are the preferred contractor on two of the largest energy infrastructure projects within the Australian energy sector, one of these projects is located in Queensland and the other in New South Wales. These two exciting opportunities secure a pipeline of work until 2027 and include the design & construction of new transmission lines and substations.

The Hunter Power Project is the construction of a 660MW Power Station comprising of two heavy-duty open cycle gas turbines. Located in the in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, 35 km west of Newcastle.

UGL's utilities business undertakes essential design & construction services for critical infrastructure in the power and water sectors. Our end-to-end delivery ranges from transmission lines, switchyards, substations, electrical distribution through to water and wastewater treatment plants and water pipelines.

**What will a day in this role look like**:

- Provide support & guidance to the QA Team.
- Managing project quality registers, tracking tools and dashboards.
- Assist with the updating/maintenance & implementation of quality systems documentation, training.
- Assist with coordination and planning of QA audits.
- Assist with internal auditing & the /registration and investigation of Non-compliances.
- Assisting MDR and IOM progressive compilation.
- Provide advice/reports to the QA Manager/Project Manager in relation to documentation, operating procedures, working instructions & any other records relating to quality practice
- Assist with training the greater team in all aspects relating to the UGLMS.
- Participate in Quality Management meetings & discussions as required.
