Our client is seeking to engage a HR Accounts Officer.
**Contract Length**: Permanent, Full time
**RESPONSIBLE FOR**:
The HR/Accounts Officer, is responsible for effectively managing the Human Resources and providing support to the Senior Finance Manager is Accounts Administration.
The role involves a diverse range of tasks, ensuring smooth functioning and compliance with established policies and procedures.
The HR/Accounts Officer is responsible for assisting the Business Manager and Senior Finance Manager implement strategies that will produce efficiency and productivity.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous experience in Human Resources
- Previous experience in Accounts Administration (AP and AR)
- Return to Work Coordinator Training

**HR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new employees.
- Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by addressing grievances, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting a supportive work environment.
- Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal systems, monitor employee performance, and provide support for performance improvement initiatives.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs, organise training sessions, and support employee development initiatives to enhance skills and competencies.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, handle documentation related to employment contracts, leaves, and other HR-related matters.

**ACCOUNTS RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process invoices from vendors and suppliers accurately and promptly, verify that invoices are properly authorised, coded, and comply with company policies and procedures, ensure timely and accurate recording of payables in the accounting system, Preparation and Distribution of Weekly Snapshot Sheet.
- Payment Processing: Prepare and schedule payments to vendors and suppliers within the agreed-upon payment terms, coordinate with the finance team to ensure sufficient funds are available for payment disbursement, Process electronic batch files for processing.
- Vendor Management: Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely communication and issue resolution, address enquiries and discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and vendor accounts in a timely and professional manner, Negotiate payment terms and discounts with vendors to optimise cash flow and minimise costs.
- Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements with accounts payable records to ensure accuracy and completeness of payments, Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding balances with vendors in a timely manner, prepare periodic reports summarising accounts payable transactions, aging analysis, and outstanding liabilities.
