**Job Title: HR Project Officer**

**Start Date: ASAP - Pending cleared Police Check**

**Duration: 3 months**

**Possibility of Extension: Yes**

**Pay Rate: $110/hour + super**

**Location: Canberra**

**WFH/Onsite Requirements: Onsite**

Join our dynamic team and be responsible for implementing HR initiatives and driving organizational change to support the Strategic Intent and operational requirements. As an HR Project Officer, you will work closely with the People and Governance team to establish sustainable best-practice HR operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the implementation of people initiatives as outlined in the People Strategy, focusing on staff mobility and career path development.
- Collaborate with the Operational Leadership Team to develop position descriptions supporting organizational redesign and broad-banding of roles.
- Coordinate and support effective processes for implementing changes to the organizational structure based on design consultation outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and coordination of communications and training that support people initiatives.
- Track, manage, and report on the progress of people initiatives.

**Professional/Technical Skills and Knowledge**:

- Proven experience delivering HR programs/projects, particularly in organizational redesign.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills within the context of HR projects.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to contribute to and implement a communication strategy across the organization.
