- About the role
We’re seeking a Reporting & Optimisation Lead to embed best practice metrics of success, campaign planning, testing, reporting, and optimisation across our customer journeys and campaigns to deliver measurable business and customer benefits.

- Day-to-day, you will:
- Act as stream lead in cross-functional BAU and project squads.-
- Provide guidance on journey and campaign design, including decision splits, A/B testing, reporting, channel selection, and ongoing optimisation opportunities.-
- Drive the adoption of Dataiku as the new data aggregation and reporting tool.-
- Establish a robust, automated reporting system to monitor conversion across customer journeys.-
- Identify and deliver opportunities for dashboards and other reporting to provide actionable insights into communications conversion and customer engagement.-
- Support team members and stakeholders with Reporting & Optimisation opportunities and reporting requests.-
- Advocate for data-led decision making and educate other teams on the potential uses, limitations, and best practices of data.-
- Prioritise and distribute work among stream members, manage workflow and capacity using Jira, and ensure timely task completion.- This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- Experience in managing reporting and optimisation for digital communications distribution platforms.-
- Proven people leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to manage, mentor, and develop team members effectively.-
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business discipline, providing a strong foundation in business principles and practices.-
- Experience working in an agile environment, showcasing adaptability and proficiency in agile methodologies and practices.-
- Background in organisations with multi-channel, complex customer journeys, highlighting the ability to navigate and optimise intricate customer interactions across various channels.-
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of dissecting complex data and deriving actionable insights.-
- Meticulous attention to detail combined with the ability to think strategically and see the bigger picture.-
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear, concise, and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.-
- Expertise in Tableau, with advanced skills in creating and managing data visualisations and dashboards.-
- Proficiency in report preparation and presentation, demonstrating the ability to compile, analyse, and present data-driven reports to inform decision-making.With a career at Transurban, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits, including:
