**What you will do**:

- Work in a high impact, market-facing and structural engineering delivery focused role
- Manage ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients
- Ascertain specifications and evolving client requirements
- Proactively determine, manage, monitor and control scope of works
- Project manage work across the design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects
- Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and Structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards - and in alignment with schedules and budgets
- Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally
- Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team
- Mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers, and
- Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.

**About you**:

- Bachelor to Masters’ level degree (Civil/ Structural Engineering)
- Chartered status with Engineers Australia (desirable)
- Strong expertise in Structural engineering and design documentation, including sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3500, NCC etc.);
- 10 to 15+ years’ industry experience on Australian structural engineering projects, ideally in a consulting environment
- High level of expertise in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging and scale and sector, e.g. health, commercial, residential, industrial, defence
- Sound client facing, business development and account/relationship management skills
- Strong project management skills, including managing Structural engineering teams
- Adept in cross-discipline project delivery and an effective collaborator with all key engineering disciplines
- Ideally well-versed tendering requirements and influencing successful outcomes being achieved
- Well versed with tendering requirements and ensuring successful outcomes
- Proven ability to lead, train and mentor junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects, and
- Highly developed customer-focus, leadership, teamwork, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
