The Associate Director (Global Partnerships) is responsible for overseeing the effective development, delivery and evaluation of the University of Adelaide’s Global, Country and Partner Engagement Frameworks through coordination and management of initiatives with the University’s internal and external stakeholders and partners. The Associate Director collaborates with professional and academic staff across the institution and leads a team of staff to strengthen the University’s global reputation, reach, and revenue generation opportunities. This includes leading the cultivation of existing and new international partnerships to achieve broad outcomes, such as comprehensive research and education collaborations, articulation and pipeline partnerships, sponsor opportunities, and transnational education (TNE) initiatives aligned with the University’s strategic ambitions.

This role supports the team in the identification and day-to-day development, management and maintenance of key global partnerships in higher education, and the development of informed and innovative engagement strategies and programs for these global partners to deliver against the University’s partnership strategic objectives and ensure high levels of return on investment.

**To be successful you will need**:

- Demonstrated experience in international business development and the capacity to cultivate comprehensive strategic partnerships that deliver a strong return on investment.
- Experience in leading teams in the development, delivery and evaluation of strategies and high impact plans that align with broader organisational outcomes
- Experience in the management and coordination of project teams and multiple internal and external stakeholders, across different countries and sectors to achieve desired outcomes
- Experience in building highly effective professional relationships and working with diverse stakeholders across multiple industries
- Demonstrated experience in preparation of proposals, planning documents and reports to support strategic partner engagement
