**About the Role**:
Our client has been in operation for over 40 years and prides themselves on bringing the most innovative healthcare furniture and equipment solutions to Australian Healthcare providers.

A newly created role is now available for an Operations Coordinator, who will be responsible for a variety of duties, including inventory management, logistics, procurement and job scheduling, for their local manufacturing/production plant. You will be providing high quality, specialised products to the Aged Care and Health Care environment and will need to be able to juggle a number of tasks and priorities at any one time, to ensure delivery and supply timelines are met.

**Duties**:

- Monitor inventory levels, create production work orders, and monitor lead times to ensure customer orders are fulfilled within timeframes
- Generate purchase orders to fulfil production jobs and replenish stock
- Work closely with the customer service and sales team to convey product availability, timelines, delays or supply interruptions and completion dates
- Manage item costs and update price, product and vendor details in the ERP system
- Source new products and components
- Component and final product quality control
- Coordinate local and international incoming & outgoing freight & deliveries

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in an operations coordination role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong planning/scheduling experience, across production & logistics
- Purchasing & procurement experience
- Familiar with ERP or MRP systems
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Excel
- Experience with managing Inventory and Bills of Material
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong Safety focus with a preventative proactive approach
