The Australian Reinforcing Company (ARC), a leading manufacturer and supplier of steel reinforcing, is seeking an exceptional Operations Coordinator to join our team.

We are committed to finding fantastic people who can help take us on our journey of going from good to great. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in assisting daily operations through planning, coordinating, and monitoring of the production plan.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and monitoring daily production conditions and manufacturing requirements
  • Confirming deliveries with site personnel prior to printing of work, to ensure that production is commenced when it is required by customer
  • Managing and allocating orders for production
  • Maintaining critical date changes with the customer
  • Altering production runs daily ensuring operational efficiency without compromising customers delivery requirements
  • Ensuring all drawings & documents are attached to schedules, if required
  • Communicating production setbacks and their potential impacts to Sales/Customer teams
  • Work with Operations Supervisors/Team Leaders/Operators towards meeting Delivery in Full on Time

In this role, you will be passionate about the building industry and what ARC has to offer in the market. Your previous experience in the construction and/or manufacturing industry will be highly advantageous to your success in this position.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive approach to ensuring production is maximised and deadlines are met
  • A confident phone manner
  • SAP, Symix, ARMA or PlanX experience or knowledge is highly regarded
  • An understanding or background in construction, manufacturing, or supply chain
  • Experience with basic MS office suite
  • Scheduling experience highly regarded but not essential

The estimated salary for this position is around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
