**Your New Role**

We are looking for Project Officers to join the PHA team If you have graduate qualifications in science, agriculture, agricultural science, environmental science, emergency management, training, learning and development, instructional design, law or a related field, and an interest in biosecurity, we want to hear from you.

Our Project Officers work across a diverse range of projects and programs, supporting PHA activities through:

- coordination, extension and engagement work
- development of plant biosecurity and related plans and strategies
- assisting with stakeholder data and generating reports
- developing and implementing e-learning courses
- stakeholder relationship activities
- providing secretariat support to committees and working groups
- supporting communication efforts

To be successful as a PHA Project Officer you will have:

- excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills
- great communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
- strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- great organisational and secretariat support skills
- relevant qualifications (or close to attaining such qualifications).

In addition, we are interested in hearing from people with skills and/or experience in one or more of the following areas:

- plant biosecurity
- learning and development
- development of e-learning
- biosecurity diagnostics and surveillance
- agricultural extension
- visualising data and data reporting
- emergency response and preparedness
- agricultural research and development

All positions are potentially available on a full-time basis. However, some may be available part-time (minimum 22 hours per week). Positions are available for 1 or 3 years depending on the role, with the potential for extension. The location of some positions is flexible with the possibility of working remotely from home, with travel to the Canberra office, as necessary.

The salary range (excluding superannuation) is $62,100 to $93,150, depending on skills and experience.
