**ORGANISATION**
Foodbank is the largest hunger relief charity in Australia, providing more than 70% of the food rescued for food relief nation-wide.

As the pantry to the charity sector, they work with over 2,600 charities to get food and groceries to people who need a hand and are support more than 2,900 School Breakfast Programs nationally. Foodbank sourced enough food for over 82 million meals last year alone.

**ROLE**
Due to a recent promotion in the team, we are looking for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator with initiative and strong stakeholder management skills to join this incredible charity.

Reporting to the General Manager Marketing and Communications Manager and working closely with the Digital Marketing Executive, you will support overall marketing and communications of Foodbank Australia’s (FBA) activities in
**brand,**
**corporate communications**,
**internal communications, media engagement**,
**collateral** for food and grocery donors and corporate funders and support the national launch of the
**_Foodbank Hunger Report_**.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a recent graduate; or someone looking to build their marketing and communications experience in a professional and ethical for-purpose organisation that is making a real difference to the lives of thousands of Aussie families across the country.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Marketing
- Provide general marketing assistance including marketing collateral development and artwork support.
- Assist with planning, implementing and evaluating campaigns.
- Provide collateral support to FBA Supply Chain Team (SCT), Funds Team, Research Team and Foodbank Tasmania
- Work and support the Digital Marketing Executive, assist in developing social media posts, videos, animations, photo curation and wording.
- Work with designers or relevant third parties to design and compile marketing collateral.
- Manage the database of marketing collateral

Communications
- Plan and write communication content including eNewsletters, stories, and where needed website content, social media content.
- Assist with communication requests including Annual Partner Snapshots
- Edit articles where required for National Donor trade publications.
- Collaborate with the SCT on key events such as Week of Care, Agri Week and donor milestones the promotion of SCT milestone events

Other
- Build and maintain relationships with member Foodbank marcomm teams.
- Act as secretariat for the Marketing and Fundraising Committee (MFC)
- Work with Foodbank Tasmania to develop marketing and communications collateral ensuring brand guidelines are met.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the office.

**YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES**
- Marketing or Communications Degree _or_ 1-2 years practical experience in marketing, communications, digital and/or social media and corporate relations
- Ability to prioritise and self-manage a busy schedule.
- Thrives in working under pressure, managing competing deadlines and various stakeholders.
- Work within a team as well as autonomously
- Excellent verbal and written communication and editing skills.
- Basic graphic design skills advantageous
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher
- Social media/digital skills
- Basic video and design skills (Publisher or other) advantageous
- Strong networking capabilities
- Fantastic people skills with a genuine passion for the organisation
