We are currently seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join a Local Council in Melbourne's east on an initial 8-week contract basis with the potential for extension.
In this role, you will be responsible for spearheading our redeployment program, which aims to support individuals affected by organizational changes to find suitable alternative employment within council or external opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate closely with department managers and HR Business Partners to identify suitable redeployment opportunities for affected staff.
- Provide guidance and support to affected staff throughout the redeployment process, ensuring a smooth transition to new roles.
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews, assessments, and other selection processes.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on the status of the redeployment program for management.
**Key Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner or similar role, ideally within a public sector or large organizational setting.
- Strong knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, best practices, and employment legislation.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field will be highly regarded.
