**The Opportunity**
As the Service Desk Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Service Desk, leading and developing a small team and reporting to the IT Operations Manager.
**Duties of the role;**
- Supervise a small team, fostering a collaborative and customer-centric approach
- Address IT-related inquiries, issues, and requests from end-users promptly and effectively
- Implement and monitor assurance processes to maintain operational efficiency
- Continuously improve workflows and enhance service delivery
- Efficiently manage IT ticket requests—triage, allocate, and escalate as needed
- Prepare hardware, software, and user accounts to ensure a smooth transition
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Assist in planning and executing IT projects, such as system upgrades or migrations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Prioritise and resolve IT incidents and outage issues based on impact and urgency to minimise downtime
**What are we looking for?**
- At least two years experience as a Service Desk Lead
- Familiar with both MAC and Windows operating systems
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team
- ITIL Certification or equivalent
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities
- Strong focus on Customer Service
- Full Australian working rights
